I’m a visual artist working with photography, drawing, and time-based media. I grew up in the mountains of Lebanon and spent my formative years in Beirut. I studied Environmental Health at the American University of Beirut, then moved to the US, where I received a BA in Studio Art from Arizona State University and an MFA from the University of Arizona. From the magical deserts of the Southwest, I relocated to the lush forests of the Northeast to serve as Assistant Professor of Photography at Ithaca College followed by Visiting Lecturer and Critic in the Art Department at Cornell University. When I’m not teaching, I’m gallivanting and making work in foreign and familiar places. My home bases are New York and Lebanon.
