For what seems like an eternity now, she no longer dreams. Roaming in waking life, she watches strangers dream. Seemingly on hiatus, they become her father, her companion, and at times, her embodiment. Do they know something she does not know? Do they hold the answers? Are they the ones seeking elucidations and antidotes? Modern Canaanites and Aztecs absorbed in a similar quest. Her search takes her to two distant lands: a place she comes from and a place she returns to. Like a moth transversely orienting itself to a simulated light; a futile search amid failed technology and blank ciphers.
